Verification can establish
- canonical evidence integrity
- certificate-hash identity
- confidential commitment integrity when valid openings are supplied
- NexArt Node receipt authenticity
- Node key identity and lifecycle
- binding between the Node receipt and certificate hash
- independent timestamp status when supported and verified
Verification does not establish
- that the source event was factually true
- that every relevant event was submitted
- that an AI provider performed the claimed execution
- that an outcome was fair, legal or compliant
- that a policy approved the action
- that the source application was uncompromised
Integrity and authenticity are independent properties. A locally valid CER can retain its integrity even when Node attestation is absent or fails.
